I am myself a co-developer of the research software in question.

It is a complex software, and it will take us time to find out what is happening. Possibly, some numeric code is ill-conditioned so that minor changes in floating-point computations get grossly amplified. In the meantime, I would be very grateful for any hint

  • about similar observations in other software;
  • what changed inside MacOS with RSR13.3.1(a).
