iPad Pro M2 very slow speed usb-c/thunderbolt

Hi all,

I have an iPad Pro 128gb 11" M2.

I tried to connect to it a Sandisk SSD Extreme Pro and I was surprised to see that maximum write speed is approx 60mb/s (write approx 500mb/s). Obviously I used the usb-c cable I use to connect it to my MacBook Air and read and write speed are very high.

So I tried to test my NVME ssd in a usb 4 box that uses to read and write more than 1500/2000mb/s. Incredibly, using the same cable, results was the same ad previous test: 60mb/s and 800mb/s.

I thought the software I used was crazy, so I tried to transfer big files and the results was an incredible slow speed.

So I checked specifications: my iPad supports USB 3.1 gen2 and Thunderbolt 3/USB 4.

Anyone can tell me what's wrong?

Thanks!!

iPad Pro (6th generation)
