I overheard my upstairs neighbours on Saturday night, boasting to their friends that they compromised my android phone and they can see all my messages and they’ve made it quite clear that they’ve compromised my iPhone. What shall I do?

It very much sounds as if your upstairs neighbors know you listen to them and they are jerking your chain.
Unless your phone has been jailbroken, or your neighbors have had access to it while it was left unlocked for a signification length of time or your neighbors have hundreds of thousands of dollars lying around and have decided the best way to spend it is by hacking your phone, your phone as not been compromised.
Could your Apple ID have been compromise? Perhaps.

At this point, you need to do the following things:
We have got proof of them hacking my android phone and I know they compromised one of my other phones because they’ve got a detailed phone. When I send a message to someone it doesn’t go to hear it go somewhere else ?? There is such thing is hijacking people SIM cards !!
