I have two iPods, one is disabled because I can't remember the passcode. I have tried to follow the instructions from previous posts and it's still disabled. Is there another way that I can reset? I even tried with iTunes and nothing.

Try again to follow these instructions to put it into restore mode:
did you put it in recovery mode (after turning the iPod Off and On)?
I still get the black disabled screen.
Hi, sorry I took so long to respond. Used my laptop and updated iTunes. Was able to restore but in order to complete update it asked for a pin and I'm right back where I started.
I can't even turn the ipod off. "Press home to upgrade" is still on the screen. i Tunes doesn't recognize the ipod.
