iPhone photo album size

In the Photos app on iPhone, the albums are used to assist with organizing your photos, however the photos will remain in the All Photos album. So essentially the albums you created don't necessarily take up additional space in iCloud storage. What's recorded as used for iCloud Storage is the entirety of your photo library.

On the iPhone I do not know of any way to sort the videos in your Photos Library by size. Generally, the videos with a long duration will have a large file size. Portrait photos are larger than regular photos, as they need a depth map. Panoramic images, Raw images, or TIFF images are larger than simple JPEGs or HEIC images. If you are using external editors, the edited versions can be larger than the original. So the Media Kind albums might be a good starting point to find large items on your iPhone.

Do you have a Mac as well? If your iCloud Photos Library is synced with a computer, it might be easier to find the largest items on the computer. On a Mac you could use the free trial version or PowerPhotos to show your photos as a table showing the size of the photos and to sort them by the file size.
