Motion 5.5.2 stopped loading When I try to start Motion I just get the What's New in Motion menu then I click continue and the ball of death appears. Motion worked just find until a week ago. I deleted the preferences and reload the app but nothing. Any clues? FCPX runs just fine.

Motion Elements exceeding timeline I have the following problem: I wanted to trim the duration of a behaviour in Motion but couldn't, as the element exceeded the timeline and therefore could not be grabbed by its handles. This is the case for other elements as well. I am zoomed out as far as possible and can not scroll on the timeline, still these elements exceed the total length of the timeline by a factor of 5 or so. In the picture you can see several elements. The middle two are trimmable as their ends are in frame, the others are not.

Try holding down Command and Option while starting Motion and click Delete Preferences.

If problem persists we will need more information. Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here.

Use the “additional text” button and paste the report into the text box.
