disable password requirement for Ventura
I seriously want to get the login password thing off my Mac when I upgraded to Ventura it won't let me disable the login password screen. None of the typical online suggestions work.
iMac, macOS 10.12

If you have FileVault enabled you can't bypass the login screen.
Are you saying, in System Settings > Users & Groups, "Automatically log in as" is set to your User Name and not "Off"?
Try this: System Settings > Touch ID & Password > Change Password > enter your old password and level box for new password empty, hit return and verify you're not going to use a password
That should work
Added, If there are More than 1 User Account on this computer, even if Guest Account is Only Enabled, the user can not bypass the Login Screen
If you have "Automatically log in as" set, there is no Start Up screen.
