Associated With an Apple ID

You can auto-download purchases on this device with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this device with a different Apple ID for 23 days.

Hi Dfresh520,

For help with accessing Apple Music and your Apple ID, check out the information below found in the article here: View and remove your devices that are associated with Apple ID purchases

"When you try to associate a device that was previously associated, you might notice a message that says,

"This device is associated with another Apple ID. You cannot associate this device with another Apple ID for [number] days." You might need to wait up to 90 days to associate the device with a different Apple ID.

This list of associated devices is not the same as the list of devices that you're currently signed in to with your Apple ID. You can find out where you're signed in on your Apple ID account page."

Additionally, the section "Remove your associated iPhone or iPad" in the same article can help to remove. You can also find helpful information to check all your Apple ID details here: Manage and use your Apple ID

If you're unable to remove or the issue remains, reach out to Apple directly to inform them of the ownership change of the device and to further assist.
