How can I send a specific podcast from my Apple Podcast app to my Echo device? When I was using Spotify I could send a specific podcast to my Echo. But when I'm on the Apple Podcast app I only see Airplay as an option and it doesn't connect with any of my Echo devices.
You would have to do this with Bluetooth. I don't knokw how this works with a phone: on a Mac you would ask the Alexa device to make itself discoverable, then open Bluetooth Preferences where it should appear and connect to it. Choose it in the Sound menu. You should be able to start, stop, and move previous or next, but you won't be able to get to a specific episode directly.
Thanks for the reply, Robert. Unfortunately, that's not what I need. I already linked apple podcasts but it will only play the most recent episode. We can't ask for a specific episode (my kids really like to go through whole podcast series over and over again). I thought I could get around it by casting directly from the apple podcast app but I can't find a way to do that. Alexa linked with Apple Podcast but apparently the Apple Podcast app doesn't link with Alexa?!
