Declining payment method
Why does the apple store keeps declining my payment method upon adding couples of different payment method
When multiple payment methods are available you can arrange the order of preferred payment. If the preferred payment method is not available, the transaction will be attempted on a secondary payment method (card). Below is the path to verify you payment methods and edit your preferred order of payment.
iPhone > Settings app > Your Name (top of screen) > Media & Purchases > View Account > Manage Payments > If any cards have red lettering they need to be verified by adding correct information such as date of expiration or CVV security code > tap Edit in upper right corner >
Delete any old cards or cards you do not want used. Card at the top of list is preferred card. To change order, tap and hold three horizontal lines at right edge of screen and drag to preferred position.
