app specific password doesn't work with Outlook for mac?
I recently had to change my password because i had notification of a login that i didn't recognise. As a result my icloud account stopped working on Outlook on my mac.
I generated a new app specific password and tried to update it but that didn't work so i removed the icloud account entirely from outlook and tried to re-add it. No joy.
So now i can't see my email or calendar for my icloud account on my mac and am having to cross-reference on multiple devices. It is driving me mad.
Icloud works find through the browser, on my iphone etc.
Apple support say it's not their problem because it's a microsoft thing. Microsoft say it's not their problem because it's an apple thing. So it's basically my problem.
Any ideas?
