Auto brightness adjust problem in series 3

Auto brightness in my apple watch series 3 stays bright even in dark but after turning display on and off 3-4 times the display brightness adjusts automatically in dark also i have already applied a screen mate finished screen protector on the display does this affects auto brightness adjustment??

Apple Watch Series 9 Brightness is Too Dim in Dark Rooms I just upgraded from an Apple Watch 5 to 9, and I thought the 9 would actually be brighter in darker conditions than the 5, but, I'm finding it impossible to read my watch in a dark room because the display is way too dim. Even the larger text is hard to make out, and my eyes really aren't that bad. I've searched the settings and can't seem to find anything that lets me fix this problem, but I'm hoping it's just that I'm missing some obvious feature that will let me make the display brighter in dim light situations. Can someone please tell me where to find this setting?

Apple Watch Ultra 2 too dim in low-light conditions This has been raised before, and closed. In low-light conditions it isn’t possible to set the watch to be bright enough to be comfortably seen. The light sensor auto-dims the display, but auto-dims too much. I’m not the only person experiencing this. Yes, I suspect that this will affect battery life. I care not. I just want to make the screen bright enough to read.
