Why my AirPod wont charge unless i press it in the charging case? I have to keep holding it until it charges fully.

The charging contacts for each AirPod are at the bottom of the recess, they contact the silver ring on the stem of the AirPod. Look (eyes) into the bottom of each recess in the charging case, and remove any debris, pocket lint, etc which may have gathered there.
