Static noise on FaceTime - both iPhone and MacBook Air.

When I FaceTime someone, there is a sudden static/white noise that starts. I have tried ending the call, and both of us have restarted our phones, but it persists. Sometimes it's in short bursts, other times it continues for almost thirty seconds or longer. Both phones are updated, and so is my MacBook Air, but it does the same exact thing. I cannot hear the person I talk to, or if we are watching something, that audio is completely drowned out as well. I have tried every solution offered. This happened on my old iPhone last year, and I now have a the 14 Pro, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Nothing seems to work and it's getting incredibly annoying.
