About AirPod Pro Case 1st Gen

I recently started to have problems with my case for my airpod pros I noticed that they charge and charge my AirPods but apparently my case is open to my phone that it acts like my case is open and my AirPods and my case don’t have no more charge is there a way to fix this? Also I checked to see if anything is blocking the case to close and nothing is blocking it maybe it’s the top of the case where it closes.

Hello FsKyRaul23,

We see you have a concern with your AirPods Pro charging case. The first troubleshooting step to walk through that will usually help with most issues is to reset your AirPods Pro. Follow the steps from this article: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro

1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and close the lid.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Open the lid of your charging case, and put your AirPods in your ears.
4. Go to Settings > Bluetooth. Or go to Settings > [your AirPods].
* If your AirPods appear there as connected, tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods, tap Forget This Device, then tap again to confirm.
* If your AirPods don't appear there, continue to the next step.
5. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and keep the lid open.
6. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light on the front of the case flashes amber, then white.*
7. Reconnect your AirPods: With your AirPods in their charging case and the lid open, place your AirPods close to your iPhone or iPad. Follow the steps on your device's screen.

If the issue persists, next would be pairing them to another device to test them with. This will rule out if the issue is specific to the case or with your iPhone. Reply back with any questions.

Warm regards.
