watchos 9.5 display
After recent watchOS 9.5 update my watch (7?) no longer is partially illuminated all the time. It will fully illuminate
if I touch screen, button or crown, but not on raise wrist (the option is set).

Later in the day I found that watch icon for silence (bell) was set. I cleared it and Theater icon turned on. Theater mode was the reason my phone didn't really want to display things like notifications. Problem solved, but I don't understand how those modes got set.
