Apple Watch 8 wrist temperature working intermittently

Iwear my watch comfortably tight every night all the tracking is on properly and it intermittently works. How is everyone else finding the WristTemperature working? Is this just a known problem and they tell you you’re doing something wrong. I have restarted my watch and phone several times just in case.
