How to disable password when turning on MacBook?

Wrong - it's my machine and my decision - I should have the option, especially if I just use it around my house.

This is an exceptionally bad idea, especially on a laptop. You're leaving your data wide open if a thief grabs your Mac...

KiltedTim is correct that it's a bad idea. He made no comments about what you were or were not allowed to do.

And what happens if someone breaks into your house and steals your computer?

What are the computer setting in System Setting >> Lock Screen ?

Specifically the " Turn Display Off when inactive " and " Require Password after screen saver begins or display is off "

I wish you could talk to my aunt. she doesn't understand that when I tell her that. :)

Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following; 

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts 

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

I do not suggest using the Automatic Login to computer especially with a Touch ID equipped computer

Doing so would negate the Security of this computer if it were every Lost or Stolen

go into System Settings > Users & Groups and set "Automatically log in as" to the account that you want to login to.

Make sure you're up to date. Ventura 13.4.

if you looked at the link that Old Toad supplied above, you would have seen that entering safe mode is as simple as holding your keyboard's "shift" key while booting up. and leaving safe mode is as simple as restarting the Mac normally.

I asked 2 questions which have yet to be answered before we can move forwards with this Issue on your computer
