Can I get a response from Apple Card on progress with connecting to YNAB or other financial software for budgeting purposes?

Hello, can I get a response from the Apple Card product team on where they are with enabling connection with YNAB or other financial software for budgeting purposes? Who do I reach out to so I can report this issue and receive an update?

This is not how software development works. I have provide a link below to give your feedback to both Apple and Goldman Sachs Bank.

Apple develops framework for independent developers to create software that integrates into Apple’s products and services. Independent developers need to conform their apps to work within the framework that Apple makes available. If certain features aren’t available it could because Apple has security or privacy rules that don’t permit the service to be available.

This probably isn’t the case for some financial software. Mint, has support for Apple Card. So, we can infer, that it can be done and Apple has developed ways for financial software to access various aspect of Apple Card accounts. This probably means there are other reasons that YNAB, Quicken and others are not available. It could be privacy, security, monetary issues or other factors.

When Apple Card was introduced in August 2019, it took Mint a year or so to integrate to it into their software. If Quicken and others wanted to develop a product, they would have done so my now, I assume. Personally, I think you need to be asking these questions of the YNAB etc. If they knew there was high demand from their user base they’d start development. But, that’s just me.
