“Clipboard” on iPhone 12 Pro Max w/ iOS 16.4.1

IS THERE A WAY TO RETRIEVE SOMETHING I COPIED BUT DIDN’T PASTE BEFORE ACCIDENTALLY COPYING SOMETHING ELSE? 🙏

-I know as recently as 2021 once you copy something the last thing copied would get erased with no “clipboard” available. BUT it’s now 2023, Apple’s been aware of this flaw for years & iPhones are running on iOS 16.4.1 now. Apple has had to fix this issue by now. RIGHT?

-I spent over two hours typing an email. I was almost finished when I decided to copy what I had in order to paste it into a different format. I selected what I needed copied, immediately deleting it before moving over to the new format. I then selected what needed to be deleted & replaced with the copied email. That’s when I had every intention of tapping the word paste instead I brainlessly tapped copy and lost all my work!

-CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?? 🙏 🙏
