Apple Watch syncing to Strava with no location data

Hello- my wife recently bought an Apple Watch SE. After completing a run, the workout syncs from her watch to Strava but no location data (map, county) or splits data shows up in the Strava summary. Any ideas on what to change?

We did update the settings in Apple Health to allow ‘Workout Route Data Sources & Access’ but still not having success.

The connection works easily, and after calibrating the wheel size, as it’s on my indoor bike, I did a 50 mins ride. Up until now I’ve always done my spins with the Apple Watch which then syncs with health and Strava, but only the time, heart rate etc. I now also have the speed and cadence showing during my ride in realtime, which is great, but after finishing my ride it still only syncs the same metrics to Strava as before, no speed or cadence. I checked in health and the only metrics that shows Strava as a data share is “cycling distance”, but even that doesn’t show in Strava. Can anyone help please? Thank you

Paddling Workout on Apple watch no longer showing distance or speed. I've previously used the paddling workout option on my Apple watch with great success while kayaking. I have it set up so that it then syncs the workout to my Strava account, and on Strava I could then view a map of my route and data that included my average and maximum speed as well as distance covered. But now something has changed. Now while I'm kayaking, I can no longer see my current speed then when it syncs to Strava it is labeled as simply a "morning workout" or "lunch workout" etc. rather than a paddling workout. It does not show a map of where I went, nor does it give me my distance, average speed, or maximum speed. So now I just use my Strava app directly, but unfortunately that doesn't give me my HR data. How do I get my Apple watch paddling workout function to work like it did only a few months ago?

Apple Watch Location Not Updating I purchased my son an apple watch SE (and a data plan from Verizon) so we had the ability to locate him, if needed, as he walked home from school each day. His watch is fully charged when he leaves the house, yet the location almost never updates. It only updates if he texts/calls while on his way to or from school, otherwise it doesn't update the location. I'm not trying to track his every whereabouts, but this thing doesn't work at all and seems like a complete waste of money, when other (cheaper) alternatives exist that provide this same service. I live in a very highly populated area with great cell coverage, so that isn't the issue, this thing just doesn't update unless you manually do something to make it update, which seems to defeat the whole purpose because that manual update is the same as texting your location.

Sounds like a question you should ask of Strava. Apple doesn't own Strava.
