It’s a weird warranty of Apple for theft and loss. Useless, in my opinion. Coz if someone stole your phone and turned it off . Definitely you can’t find the device and Apple won’t help if your iPhone can’t be found “find my device” settings

You have misunderstood the AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss provisions.
