Google maps is too quiet?

Finally figured it out

Go to Settings-Sound and Haptics- Ringtone

turn off Change Volume with Buttons

buttons only control speaker volume now

You might need to adjust volume inside google maps as well.

But I’m assuming you’ve already found that setting

Apple Maps. Audio button is missing my version of Apple maps does not have option to change or mute audio. It’s not on screen and when I swipe up after starting directions, the app just closes. The option to select navigation and guidance on apple maps is no longer available I'm trying to lower the volume of the voice associated with my Apple maps. It is too loud when I plug it into the car, and when I lower the volume of my music, the map's voice volume stays the same. I saw solutions indicating that we need to access Settings > Maps > Navigation and guidance but the Navigation and Guidance is not on the latest maps version.
