How can I view Maps during my outdoor cycling Why can't apple show a map while cycling like Strava does? They should add a metric screen with a map view while riding so if you want to see the map you can swipe to that screen and possibly add a few smaller metric views above or below the map on the same screen. I've been wanting this for years and thought by now it would be out but come every summer, still no map on my outdoor cycling workout. I can understand Apple wanting to streamline and/or focus on the experience, but when I need to have both Strava and an Apple workout running to see where I'm at, that is not streamlined. Why does Fitness activity Sailing not track gps route Apple needs to improve certain workouts in the fitness app. Sailing and surfing should track GPS route and display it on the map. Instead the map just shows the point where the workout started. Sailing and surfing and perhaps some other workouts should be no different than outdoor Walk, Outdoor Run, and Outdoor Bike, which all show your full workout route on the map. Seems like this would be very simple for Apple to fix, and it’s kind of disappointing that these workouts weren’t originally programmed to show the route. Until they fix this I’ll keep using Outdoor Bike workout, but it would be much better for it just to track this data. They should also include data such as average speed, top speed, etc.
