How to stop unwanted screen edit mode

I recently "upgraded" to an iPhone 14 Pro from an 8 Plus and I am constantly getting into screen edit mode that I don't want. It appears this problem has been discussed for at least a year and Apple does not seem interested in fixing the problem. The "advice" I see to change the Touch under Accessibility is useless. The options are slow and fast, no OFF. There is NO logical reason for the system to EVER do this automatically. Apparently it was something added to newer phones so obviously they CAN return to the previous INTENTIONAL edit function if they CARE to.

How do we get Apple's attention so they quit annoying ALL of their customers with this nonsense? Any ideas?

If you hold your finger on the screen it will go to screen edit mode. ALL iPhone models from the original iPhone have always worked this way. It was not added to newer phones, it has always been there. To avoid it don’t hold your finger on the screen, just tap it.
