15 amp power cable with M1 MacStdio computer

Since Apple has sent a 15 amp power cable with my new M1 Mac Studio computer… and the plug fits into no UPS socket in India. Could I not just use a 5Amp to 15amp a conversion plug and solve the problem?

Apple specs show 370 Watts peak power, for the chassis, WITHOUT peripherals. So you need a device that can supply that much power.

For 220 Volt power, that would be 370 Watts /220 Volts, or about 1.7 Amps, so a 5 Amps plug adapter should be acceptable, and will not be over-powered and get too hot.

for 120 Volt power that would be 370 Watts / 120 Volts, or a bit over 3 Amps, also acceptable.
