Taps not registering in certain situations.

I don't have a question, but I figured something out that I would like to share with other users, because similar questions were not answered, although many pushed the "me too" button.


If your iPhone / iPad does not respond to all of your taps, try moisturising your fingers as described here:

Thanks for the suggestion. In my experience, I found the opposite to be true. If my taps are not getting results, I wash off any hand lotion residue, clean my screen, rub my hands together to warm them up … and the taps magically start working!
