You'll have to buy one unless your homeowners/renters insurance will cover the cost of a replacement. With deductibles, even that is a long shot. Apple however, will not provide a replacement and Apple has never offered theft and loss protection for Apple Watch, which even if they did, you would have had to pay for in advance of losing your watch.

Nobody will replace a lost or stolen device for free, absent insurance or analogous coverage.
