Docking Station Issues

I bought a docking station for my Mac Book Pro to replace my current one so that I can have 3 monitors versus 2. But the docking station doesn't seem to acknowledge anything is plugged into it. Is there a security setting I need to select to "allow access" or something? It's been years since I set up my current docking station so I don't remember. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do you check the security settings or permissions for this?

Here are some quick troubleshooting steps for your docking station issue:

1. Check compatibility with your Mac Book Pro.

2. Update drivers or firmware for the docking station.

3. Ensure all cable connections are secure.

4. Reset the docking station if possible.

5. Check for security settings or permissions on your Mac.

6. Test the docking station with another device if available.

7. Contact the manufacturer for further support.
