Stuck on "Hello" screen

Hey.

I just finished updating my iPad to Ipad OS 16.4, and when I opened my screen, I confronted a problem. The "hello" screen showed up, and it kept jumping back to it. Let me explain: I opened the hello screen and it told me to select a wifi. After selecting and clicking 'next', it jumped back to the hello screen. After repeatedly trying again to get passed the wifi page, it wasn't even letting me get to it! As soon as I entered my passcode, it jumped right back to the hello screen!

I'd like to know why this is happening.

Thanks

iPad, iPadOS 16

There’s insufficient information with which to provide a definitive answer as to “why” you are seeing this behaviour. However, you can try to clear the problem.

The first step is to perform a forced restart - as this will often clear an isolated problem:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
