Apple Pencil Creating random lines while writing

My Apple Pencil started drawing random lines while writing with it. I noticed when the tip of the pencil is hovering just above the iPad these dots and lines are created somehow. This is while it is charging with both an apple adapter and charger. The problem stopped once unplugged. How do I prevent this from happening while charging as I am a student.

Broken lines with Apple Pencil while IPad charging I am using the 2024 M4 Ipad Pro 13in, and the Apple Pencil pro, both brand new less than a week old. Pencil works fine when iPad is not on charge but as soon as I put my iPad on to charge it begins to happen. It’s as if the pencil is periodically disconnecting for a split second as I’m writing. I primarily use Goodnotes which is where I first noticed it, but I have tested and it happens also on the notes app, so it isn’t a Goodnotes issue. My IPad is completely up to date on IPad OS 17.5.1. Would really appreciate some help as is starting to get very frustrating being unable to work while my iPad is charging.
