Share screen on my macbook air M1

Hi everyone!

Tonight I connected my macbook air M1 to an external display, then I changed the resolution from the default 2560 x (can't remember well but it's 2K), to higher and selected the external display as the main one.

But now the external display is black and shows me an alert that says out of range!

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Regards!

Hello Alan-Martinez,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

From what you have described, the resolution output from your Mac may not be compatible with the display that you have connected. You can reset the display resolution in safe mode which should output a supported resolution to your monitor again.
