Spontanous switch-off on iPhone SE 2022.

Nobody in Apple seems to know the reason. Battery has been replaced, the problem still occasionally happens, requiring a force restart to use the phone again. Very annoying and inconvenient. Has anyone else come across this? Apple can't even say if the phone is faulty or not. If it is, I need to return it for a replacement while it is still under guarantee. The phone is only 3 months old.

  1. Restart the device. That's it.
  2. Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

  1. Follow the Apple article to resolve the issue --> If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen ...
  2. If not resolved; please follow the steps in the following link for support with this issue: If your iOS device restarts or displays the Apple logo or a spinning gear unexpectedly

  • You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, following the steps in this article.
  • You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
  • The screen remains black, but the device chirps when you unmute it and connect it to power.
  • Your screen is on, but it doesn't respond when you tap, slide, or try other gestures.
  • You can't force your device to restart because a button is broken or stuck.
  • Your device is stuck on the Apple logo, displays a solid color, or isn't recognized in iTunes.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Its a bit of a joke really, because I have been through all what you are saying, time and again but it keeps happening. Ive had the phone in to Apple for a service and they can't seem to find what is causing it. So I give up. I booked a service callback from the senior team but they were closed when the auto callback came through...

I was wondering if anyone else had come up with the same thing. I may have to send it back as faulty to the retailer.
