This USSD code *#21# is for call forwarding and nothing to do with SMS.
You may not have an SMS plan enabled by your carrier for the SIM/eSIM that you use on your device. Apple Inc does not provide SMS services.
Well, dialing that number was clearly a mistake. Why did you do it if you don’t know what that service code does?
That code is an unconditional divert, and you didn’t include the number to divert to, so it sends your voice calls and text to oblivion. The undo code I think is ##21**#.
If that doesn’t work call your carrier..
I’ve had the same plan and SIM card for years. This only happened tonight after dialling that number. I’ve been able to receive sms messages up until dialling that number.
