i dropped my iphone 11 and the screen started showing green vertical lines with one part of the screen going completely black. is this a loose connection internally or do i need a screen replacement?

Screen replacement is needed at a minimum.
Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple Service shop in your area.
