iPhone 14 Pro max, with iOS 16.5NFC not working

hi., NFC menu on my 14Promax was missing, I can used it before. But now cannot find in either in control centre, setting, or I even have tried the airdrop.

basically the NFC is not in my phone. Please help.

I just ran into the same issue…my iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 16.5 would not “see” a NFC tag that I was trying to program.

I spent some time on Apple Support Chat who ultimately set me up with higher tier phone support.

Please try this and it may work for you as well.

in Control Panel - General - AirDrop…select Everyone for 10 minutes.

Then attempt to scan the NFC tag/item. The scanning area is at the back of the phone towards the top…so basically hover your camera over the tag.

NFC not working on iPhone 11 pro even after update to IOS 16.6 today.

In my iPhone 11 pro, the Apple Pay works in some terminals and not in others. But in my iPhone Xr and in my iPhone 11 the NFC it's working normally...
