Apple ID Status

I have submitted an Activation Lock removal from my device because I have forgotten my Apple ID and they have removed the Apple ID in it. So my question is, if I remember back my Apple ID, will I be able to use it back or the Apple ID is not useable after an Activation Lock removal?
