Stop iPhone auto-scroll

There is numerous questions about how to stop iPhone Auto-scroll or what ever this feature is called.

Apple is suggesting haptic control and similar non-working remedy that don't help as they make the

phone operation very slow.

Why can't there be auto-scroll On-Off slide? I'm about ready to dump iPhone because you constantly

"improve" things, you add non meaningful features. They are OK for someone, but for us mortals, why

can't you add a On-Off feature for these?

Though I have had iPhones since 2009 I do not know what this Auto-Scroll that you are referring to.

However, Apple Inc says; "We read all feedback carefully, but we are unable to respond to each submission individually."
