Autofill passwords from Mac Keychain in Google Chrome on Mac device

Hello everyone.

I was checking older threats about this problem but I couldn't find the answer. Everything I have tried seems not to be working.

Basically for Safari, when I want to login to different accounts, my passwords and credentials are getting autofilled. However, this is not happening for Google Chrome. Unfortunately, not using Chrome is not the option because I need to use it for business (I use Safari for personal browsing).

Anyway, I have found that there is an extension for Chrome that would need to make this possible, and I tried to download it. However, when I want to start the extension, I got the following message:

And it doesn't work. Is there some way to use this feature?

Thank you so much!

Hello,

Thank you for your reply, however, I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. Basically on my iMac, I open Chrome and then Chrome web store. In the store I search for the app:

I am doing all this on the iMac. When I install it, it says that this app is for Windows 10. The message that I sent in my first screenshot. I do not know how can I download Mac version then, since I am doing this on the iMac, NOT on Windows PC.

Thank you

Sorry but I do not use Google Services outside of their Search Engine( from time to time )

Personal preferences

It would appear from your last Screen Shot- this extension is Offered by Apple version 1.3.77 but does not work

At this point and good luck with this but contact Google Store to Google Services and report the malfunction of this Issue to them

FWIW, the extension is for Windows only as described…

iCloud Passwords is a Chrome extension for Windows users that allows you to use the same strong Safari passwords you create on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac when visiting websites in Chrome on your Windows PC. iCloud Passwords also saves any new passwords you create in Chrome to your iCloud Keychain so that it is also available on your Apple devices.

There is no Mac version.

Hello,

Yes, I saw that. However, I saw several articles saying that this is possible with that extension. So I thought that there might be a solution for mac. Anyway, does anyone know the other way how I could use keychain in Google Chrome then? I know it is possible to download other password tools like lets say LastPass, or any other. But keychain is great tool already present, so I am looking for a way how to use it in Chrome, if that is even possible.

Thank you!
