MacOS User Experience Decline: Anyone Else Facing Similar Issues?

I've been using macOS since the Snow Leopard era and was initially drawn to its UI simplicity, stability, aesthetics and workflow optimization, which greatly improved my productivity. However, over the years, I have noticed a slight decline in the overall experience, though nothing too concerning, except for persistent issues with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity on my MacBook Pro between 2013 and 2016.

Last year, I purchased the top-of-the-line MacBook Pro M1, and unfortunately, I have experienced a significant degradation in my user experience. I've encountered random problems, such as wired headphones not working (necessitating a system reboot), the file list not refreshing in Finder after updating filenames in apps like Pages (or even after e. g. deleting files in other Finder window), the full-screen GUI behaving strangely and becoming unresponsive (sometimes the split screen GUI appearing on the desktop instead of the space that the apps are on), and even notoriously losing network connectivity after running common third-party apps and services like Tunnelblick, OpenVPN, or a local Apache server.

Don't get me wrong, I still believe that macOS is the best desktop operating system available (also macos/ios/icloud ecosystem in general). However, these recent experiences have started reminding me of some issues typically associated with Windows, which is a bit concerning. I'm curious to know if anyone else is experiencing similar problems, or if it's just me.

I would appreciate any insights or suggestions from the Apple community regarding these issues. Thank you in advance!

I apologize if my question wasn't detailed enough to provide a clearer understanding of the issues. It can be challenging to pinpoint the exact events that contribute to an overall experience. If there are any specific aspects of my question that you would like me to elaborate on or provide more information about, please feel free to ask. I appreciate any insights or suggestions you may have regarding the experiences I described.

I just bought a MacBook Pro M3 Max .... and I am sort of disappointed.... I was making an update from my 15'' mbp El Captain which was working really fine, the menu, dock, shortcuts, Mission Control, and icons just worked and the look and feel of the software, hardware, design, icons was just amazing.

I feel I am with a standard computer now, I don't like the icons (are a little bigger), the keyboard .... soso, the setting windows looks my iPad...but does not look, like it was before....it looks more and more like a windows machine....

I feel this is the start the company is starting to loose its grip on the user experience.

I just feel profit, cost, customer segmentation ... one can tell the geniality behind the details is lacking in the web site, the computer....the phones...

I am not receiving what I payed for ....

well let's see... I ll keep messing with the computer around....but feel already a little uncofortable ... I have been using Mac since 2005 and to change from windows to Mac I really made an analysis: price, cost, durability, stability, design, mathematical processor and so forth....and Mac delivered...but not now....

hmmmmm
