How to shorten my RegEx expression to remove unnecessary delimiters from Numbers Textjoin function which doesn’t ignore blank from formula.

How to shorten my RegEx expression to remove unnecessary delimiters from Textjoin function which doesn’t ignore blank from formula.

RegEx to get text before repeating semicolons. Blank option of Textjoin function of Apple Numbers doesn’t consider blank for formula that outputs blank; Resulting in outputting delimiter for each cell with formula that outputs blank.

to supplement this TextJoin behaviour of joining cells containing formulas that output blank, I am using RegEx to remove unnecessary semicolons.

I need help to shorten following regex expression:

^([\w\:;+?]+)([\w\:]+)([\;]+$)

Sample text for above expression A2:A261;B2:B261;C2:C261;D2:D261;;

Output of regex expression A2:A261;B2:B261;C2:C261;D2:D26

Thanks for your help
