Depth effect on iPhone 8 Plus

The internet and Apple themselves said depth effect only works on a12 devices and later. But I reset my iPhone 8 Plus and transferred all my data from my iPhone 14 plus to the 8 plus. After I did this, I couldn’t help but notice the depth effect working just fine on the 8 plus. Although, it wouldn’t let me do the depth effect on other wallpapers that weren’t on my 14 plus before the data transfer, the depth effect on one of my wallpapers worked just fine, the wallpapers that had depth effect weren’t made by Apple, they were made by a 3rd party app. So, in conclusion, why doesn’t the iPhone 8 Plus natively have the depth effect when it works perfectly fine. Please note, this iPhone 8 Plus isn’t jailbroken, I simply reset it and transferred the data from the 14 plus over to the 8 plus and somehow it added depth effect on the wallpapers I had on the 14 plus. Even after iOS updates, I still have the depth effect working fine perfectly on this device.

as of writing this statement, I am running iOS 16.5
