Firefox safe for Mac Air?

Hello. I am running a MacBook Air with Ventura 13.3.1 (a) and Google Chrome v 113. I'd like to install an ad blocker for YouTube because I am sick of dealing with middle-of-video random 10-minute ads every 15 minutes, but don't want to screw up my Mac. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Use Brave Browser:

This tends to rid a lot of those popups in YouTube: https://brave.com/download/

What makes you think FF will crash your Ma?. We have it on 5 Macs and it's about the least troublesome browser we've ever used. That's been true for a couple of decades it seems.

Netscape Navigator:

I miss the old days of Netscape Navigator, where you could always make the changes in Properties for coding. I still have it on my 1995 DEC Laptop. Interestingly, it works with every site, and less popups pop up. I use the PC for troubleshooting purposes and nothing but.
