My iphone XR and my new iphone 13 mini hang up on people between 5 and 11 minutes into any conversation. I have restarted, reinstalled, wiped and reinstalled everything and it still does it. At first I thought this was another one of Apple's ways of forcing people to get a new phone but even the new phone is doing it. I did find others who reported the same issue to Apple yesterday but that now seems to be gone. Any fixes?
No. The report I read had people that had Verizon phones also and I am on AT&T. Also, my phone and SIM cards are unlocked. I took my SIM card and put it in our receptionist's iphone which has T-Mobile as its carrier. Of course it switched to AT&T when I installed my SIM card in there, but she has an older OS and tried it and it worked perfectly. No hangups. So it is definitely the new iOS.
Is it possible that the people reporting this are using the same cellular provider it is possible that it is a certain cell provider having trouble.
