Teach Dictate new words

How do I teach Apple dictation a new word like a name? The prevous advice from Viking OSX is out of date for me software version

How do I avoid slangs in dictation on iOS and macOS? "Want to" and "going to" end up as "wanna" and "gunna" or whatever, and I sometimes forget to manually correct this and then feel like a moron when sending a text, etc. Apparently no settings to prevent this and using a text shortcut doesn't seem to work either per this question: Dictation and text replacement - Apple Community Any other hacks to prevent dictation from doing this? When dictating, is there a way to spell out an unusual word or name? For example, I mention someone named (not a real person afaik) Barbaree McAninch. Instead of accepting "barberry McNinch" is there a way to give a command indicating I am going to spell a word letter by letter? Failing that, what do you recommend as a workaround?
