Why no free Apple News? And why can I not get into “Please choose a Topic”?
Have just spent almost £600 on new iPad and was told free three months Apple News. But so far am unable to get this. Why?

Are you opening the News app signed into the Apple ID used to purchase the iPad on the new iPad? That generally is enough to trigger the promotion if you are eligible.
If you still don't see a prompt in the News app after meeting those criteria, we'd recommend reviewing the additional terms and conditions to see if any of them also apply:
