Photos question

The Photos app on my MacBook Pro has begun to spin and freeze quite a bit while I am editting photos and only solution is to Force Quit. Any advice?

mac mini m4 freezing when taking screenshot, the whole pc acting weird Hello, my mac mini m4 is freezing when taking any kind of screenshot but unfreezes when clicked esc. also freezes when opening maps app. And the application window is empty as shown in the picture. iam facing this since the last update of mac. and if i try to save screenshot to desktop it says cannot save to desktop. Its really frustrating that i cant even take screenshot.

Photos App - Crashes Using Retouch and Redeye Tools Photos app recently started crashing whenever I use Retouch or Redeye tools. All other tools seem to work fine. Can you tell us more about your Mac and your Photos Library?

Photos might be slow or unresponsive for several reasons:

The Photos Library may contain older items in a legacy format, that can no longer be processed on your current system version. Does your library contain any items, that have been imported on macOS 10.14 or on an earlier system version? Check the format of these items. Are any items (videos, images) in a format tat is listed here as problematic: About legacy media in iMovie for macOS - Apple Support?
Does you mac have plenty of free storage? At least 20GB, better more, of free storage on the internal volume?
Is your Photos Library perhaps on an unsupported external drive? If your Phitos Library is not in your Pictures folder but on anexternal volume, the external volume should have been prepared as described here: Move your Photos library to save space on your Mac - Apple Support
