Today I updated FCPX to the latest version, but I am having a huge problem. In several of my projects there are audio and music tracks that are visible on the timeline but I cannot hear them. I have tried restarting FCPX and my computer, but I am still having the issue. I have also tried to relink them but that does not work either. Everyone was working just fine before I updated the software. Any ideas?
I am using 10.6.6, the new Pro Video download, and Ventura 13.4 (though this was happening before the Ventura update)
Any audio track with built-in Loudness filter is muted; any audio track with built-in Compressor is muted. If either of these effects are turned on then the track is muted.
And I was just about to render an extremely complex half-hour project...
There have been a few discussions here about a previous project's audio effects that were either replaced with new ones and/or aren't happy after upgrading. Do you have audio effects applied? Can you try disabling them to test?
