Home pod mini and apple tv

I have my Apple TV set up under “Den”. When I tell HomePod mini to turn on the tv, it responds with “The Den did not respond.

same thing happens in my master bedroom. It says the master bedroom didn’t respond.

all my software is up to date. I have Apple TV 4K in both rooms.

any ideas?

Apple TV loses connected status as HomeKit hub, HomePod mini takes over, resulting in slow automations and camera feeds. After buying an HomePod mini and installing, I found out my HomeKit was reacting very slow. After some research I noticed that my HomePod mini was connected and the Apple TV was standby. Alle devices are one the same WiFi/network connection. I deleted my HomePod and reinstalled this after resetting and it work perfect again. But after some weeks it has changed back to the old situation. Again my HomePod mini takes over. Does somebody had any experiences with this. And maybe had a fix? I tried removing both devices from a room, and also all in updated and logged in with the same Apple ID.

1 of my 4 Apple TV's will not connect to a HomePod mini. I have 4 Apple TV's, 2 Homepod minis and 7 Homepod (v1). 1 of the ATV's will not play to one of the HP mini's. I can see it in the list of available Airplay devices but it will not connect. TVoS is 16.6. I have reset, factory reset, rest and re-installed the ATV etc. etc. The ATV is 4K 2nd Gen A1842 (32Gb). All other ATV's will play to all Homepods. Not sure what to do next! TIA.....

homepod mini locked to Apple TV I used to have a homepod mini which I could connect to from all my devices (iPhones, iPads etc). I recently got an apple TV 4K (output to a beamer) and had it connect to the mini when watching e.g. Netflix. Since then, the two devices (Apple TV + mini) appear joined together as one icon in every single other device and when I e.g. want to stream Spotify to the mini it shows like it's playing but there's no sound. In the home app it shows like the Apple TV is in use instead. Steaming to the mini now always means streaming to the Apple TV which is almost always in standby, hence no sound.

Also, both devices respond correctly using Siri on my iPad and iPhone.
