Factory resetting a stolen mac
If my mac is stolen, then anyone can factory reset it using recovery assistant And I don’t think ill be able to track it after that. So how does apple explain this from the security standpoint?

The ability to factory reset your Mac is locked behind an admin user's password. To factory reset the Mac, you will need to be in macOS recovery. To access the recovery options, an administrator's password will need to be entered. As long as you have Find My Mac, your Mac will stay locatable. The iCloud password is needed to turn Find My Mac off anyway. Just make sure you have a backup of your computer for whatever reason just to be safe.
I hope this helps!

Wrong.

Apple provides Find My to help secure and find your device. It's the responsibility of the owner to keep his belongings safe from theft and damage.
I found my Mac, I can’t open it to unlock it
